"Cá Ông"
By Leith Kennedy

The whale shark is a slow-moving filter-feeding carpet shark. Despite its size, the whale shark does not pose significant danger to humans. Whale sharks are docile fish!

In Vietnamese culture, the whale shark is revered as a deity called Cá Ông, which literally translates as "Lord Fish".
